BIMA (British Interactive Media Association) was founded in 1985 and was the first digital industry body anywhere in the world. In May 2021, WeAgile became a proud member of BIMA – the UK’s largest digital and tech community with a membership of over 5000 technologists, creatives, leaders and strategists.

BIMA is an association run by the industry, for the industry. It’s independent and not-for-profit status means everything they do is for the good of the members and the industry.

BIMA’s vibrant, innovative network of like-minded people from agencies, startups, brands, charities, education and freelancers, is driving the future of digital. Members of BIMA value innovation, the sharing of knowledge and best practice, and supporting the next generation of digital professionals. They are leaders in their field and committed to making outstanding digital experiences.

This year BIMA has launched new award – BIMA10, and WeAgile founder Monshur Ali has been invited to judge the entries along with other industry experts. BIMA10 was created to celebrate work that makes a positive difference. It will recognise 10 digital-first projects that have solved real challenges, created new opportunities or that have done something in a brave new way.
