When building a website, one of the most vital rules to follow is to not clutter your space. White space, which are the blank white areas of your site, isn’t something to be avoided! Instead, embrace these areas!

3. Focus on Easy Navigation

4. Avoid Chunks of Text

Different types of websites will need different amounts of text. But, regardless of how much you need, never write in large chunks. Try to use paragraphs every three or four sentences, and use regular subheadings, images, and bullet points to break up the text.

It’s good to remember that people only read on average 20% of the content on a web page, too. Try to keep yours simple and to the point to ensure what they do read is of value to them.
